Collaborates with Sahaya International

READ (Rural Education and Action Development) works with underprivileged, disadvantaged and vulnerable people, particularly women and children. Their goal is to improve the social, educational, and economic conditions of these people. Their goals closely match those of SHAMA, Inc. Our work together includes the following:

1. SHAMA WELL micro-loans through READ (with Sahaya International) are used to further their goals. The women receive the means to provide a living for themselves and their families. 2. G. V. NAIDU Elementary School - SHAMA, Inc. and READ have helped build an elementary school in Andhra Pradesh. Click here for a report and picture of this successful work.
