The Gaddi Women's Self-Help Society
Women in Naddi requested that a school be opened in their village, which is 10
kilometers from the one in Bhagsunag. This school is the one most recently
opened. The teacher underwent four months of extensive training at the Bhagsunag
Center.
It was quite heartening to see the 19 seats for the first
six-month Basic course filling up within an hour of opening registration, and
the waiting list for the second Basic course
filling, too.

This student at the Naddi Tailoring School is the same one who was seen with the
load of leaves on the path to Baal. The
training she is getting here will help her to support herself in a better way
than manual labor.
